Your Job Is To Get Your Art Into The World
by Nicole Trilivas
“After you have finished a piece of work, the work is then none of your business.”

Writers always feel like their work is never done. But if that were truly the case, no books would ever grace a bookshelf. Practicing the art of release is a terribly difficult thing (in life as it is in art), but if we’re to ever move on and create something new, then we must put our art out there and learn how to walk away from it. That means not having regrets or wishes to change things, that means not fussing over bad reviews, that means not ruminating.
Easier said than done, right?
