Getting lost in a good book never gets old

So, everyone is all like, “If you want to be a good writer, you have to read!” right? Well, I just found a great resource for reading until your heart’s delight. Ok, I’m probably late for the party, but I just discovered Project Gutenberg, the world’s oldest (and free-ist) digital library of ebooks. You can download countless classic books for free for use on your iPad, Nook, Kindle, or whatever. It also has an image library of vintage photos and illustrations (see pic above), which is another great resource for writers.

I’m outlining an new historical fiction project, and this library has been indispensable by giving me access to all these books written in the historical time period that I’m researching.

Right now, I’m reading Phantom of the Opera, which has been a great ride. I highly recommend that you get acquainted with this amazing tool and get reading!
